We headed our to Henderson the Corban Art Centre today to get creative! We got the chance to make cardboard selfies. Firstly, we learned how to draw our silhouette with a buddy, then began cutting that out. Next, we looked in the mirror and began drawing our faces. We now know how to ensure our faces are realistic - putting our ears, eyes and nose in the correct places. Feel free to drop in and see our work sometime.
Tino pai Room 35! We loved doing the selfies too. What did you find the most challenging?

We found it really challenging using the scissors to cut the thick cardboard. Furthermore, we also found the tracing around our buddies head difficult because the pencil kept coming in and making our buddies head too skinny and small.

ReplyDeleteHi Room 35 classmates.
ReplyDeleteI found it very annoying when my hands got sticky because of the glue. When I finished I was kind of proud.
