Bruce Potter came to our school and we were lucky to have such an incredible author and an amazing illustrator visit us.
He has helped make heaps of books, and made many of his own like 'Penny the Prolific Pooing cow'.

My favourite part of his visit was his drawing on Photo Shop. It was completely wacky!!!!

Wai care- water testing in the gully

We went down to our beautiful gully to do some water testing to check if our gully is healthy. We found out that the water needs to meet the 5 C's, clean, cool, clear, critters and current.
We found out our water is quite healthy for a residential area.

AKO - Reciprocal Learning

This term we have been learning about what AKO means - reciprocal learning. We now understand that you can learn from anyone at anytime. We were challenged to teach the class something that we were skilled/knowledgable about. Some of our parent even came and got involved too! Thanks to everyone that got involved and share their skills, we have learned so much from one another.

Our Trip to Corban Art Centre to do 'Selfies'.

We headed our to Henderson the Corban Art Centre today to get creative!  We got the chance to make cardboard selfies.  Firstly, we learned how to draw our silhouette with a buddy, then began cutting that out.  Next, we looked in the mirror and began drawing our faces.  We now know how to ensure our faces are realistic - putting our ears, eyes and nose in the correct places.  Feel free to drop in and see our work sometime.
